About Us
IJM Toll Division oversees three major toll highways in Malaysia: BESRAYA (29 km), the New Pantai Highway, NPE (19.6 km), and the Kajang–Seremban Highway, LEKAS (44.3 km). With a strong asset base and comprehensive capabilities, the Division is well-positioned for continued growth and expansion.
Its services cover the full lifecycle of toll infrastructure projects — from planning and design, through construction, to operations and maintenance. In addition, IJM Highway Services Sdn Bhd manages ongoing maintenance works, reinforcing IJM Toll Division’s status as one of the nation’s most established toll highways infrastructure operators.
By managing urban and high-density highways within Malaysia’s integrated transportation network — where road and highway infrastructure is critical — IJM Toll Division has consistently delivered exceptional highway services to the nation.
Besraya Highway
Besraya Highway spans from the UPM Interchange to Jalan Istana and Pandan Indah. Since its opening in 1999, it has served as a seamless route into the heart of Kuala Lumpur from Seremban, Putrajaya, as well as from Cheras and Pandan Indah via the Besraya Eastern Extension (BEE). The highway also provides convenient access to key destinations such as The Mines and the National Sports Complex.
With the completion of the Besraya Eastern Extension (BEE) in 2014, the network now connects to Jalan Istana, MRR2, Cheras, Pandan, Serdang, and Seri Kembangan, including the Ikan Emas Interchange. Spanning 28.9 km with 24 interchanges, Besraya continues to be an essential route for daily commuters across the Klang Valley. It is well integrated with major public transportation hubs such as Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), urban and commuter rail services, as well as the KL International Airport (KLIA) via the Express Rail Link (ERL). Besraya Highway is also linked to several major highways including the NPE, SUKE, MRR2, Kajang SILK, and the PLUS Highway.
New Pantai Highway
The New Pantai Highway (NPE) is a 19.6 km highway developed and operated by New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad. Opened in 2004, it links Subang Jaya, Bangsar, Pantai Dalam and Salak South, offering fast connectivity to major
highways across the Klang Valley.
To further strengthen this network, NPE is developing the NPE 2 extension a self-financed RM1.7 billion elevated highway fully funded without government allocation. The 6.4 km (15 km with ramps) route will connect the Pantai Dalam Toll Plaza to Jalan Istana via Jalan Syed Putra, improving highway-to-highway connectivity between the NPE, BESRAYA and the upcoming LIKE Expressway, and enhancing access into central Kuala Lumpur.
Lekas Highway
Lebuhraya Kajang Seremban (LEKAS) is a new dual three lane highway between Kajang and Seremban. Traversing generally in a southerly direction, LEKAS commences immediately south of the Kajang Ring Road clover leaf interchange and ends at Paroi, in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. The highway concession was awarded to LEKAS in November 2006, with IJM Corporation Berhad and KASEH Sdn Bhd as the equity shareholders.
With a total length of 44.3 km, LEKAS forms an effective toll expressway between Kuala Lumpur Eastern Sector and the heart of Seremban. The alignment passes through highly developed areas of Kajang, Semenyih, Pajam, Mantin, Setul and Paroi. LEKAS is adopting the close toll system between Kajang and Setul, and an open toll system between Setul and Paroi, comprising of three mainline toll plazas and three off ramp toll plazas.
